Dear Valued Clients,

On Tuesday, March 24th, Williamson County was issued a “stay-at-home” order by Judge Bill Gravel. This order will be in effect until April 13th. While our hospital will remain open during this time, it will be under great restrictions. We will have a very limited support staff. In an effort to uphold the county’s mandate for social distancing, clients will not be allowed in the building, except in the unfortunate case of a euthanasia. In that circumstance, we just want to remind you that our exam rooms are only able to accommodate so many people, while still abiding by the social distancing standards.

Given the current situation in our community, we will need your help. We want to remain available to treat our patients with urgent medical needs. Any kind of visit or procedure that can wait until after April 13th will be scheduled for that time. If you feel your pet has an immediate medical need, please call our staff at 512-863-3563 and we will assess the urgency on a case by case basis. We will continue our current “Curbside Check-In” procedure that has been in place over the past week. Call us when you arrive for your visit and a staff member will come out to your vehicle to bring your pet in for their exam. The doctor will call you to let you know their findings and you can pay-by-phone with our receptionists, or send in your payment with the technician.

During this challenging time we implore you to be patient with our receptionists in regards to answering calls. They will be doing their best to answer each one, but as we will be taking payments over the phone, they may be temporarily engaged. If you get our voicemail system while you are waiting outside, you can leave a message, then wait a few moments and call again.

As fellow pet parents, we understand the concern you may feel about your pet receiving the care they need. Please know that we are committed to providing the highest quality of care and service during these unique and uncertain times.

We are grateful to have each of you as our clients. You have shown incredible encouragement and understanding through our change in procedure and we are looking forward to working with you as this situation unfolds.

As soon as we are permitted to resume normal business operations, we will notify you. Any updates between now and then will be posted on our website and on Facebook.
