Dr. Anna Tackett was raised in Harker Heights, Texas. She has always had a passion and calling to care for animals. She began volunteering at a veterinary clinic at 15 years old, and hasn’t left the field since.
Anna obtained a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. She then graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after returning to Texas A&M to complete her clinical studies. She worked as a relief veterinarian for her home town and in the Austin area before deciding to join the Georgetown Veterinary Hospital family.
Anna is most passionate about physical rehabilitation and she also enjoys preventative medicine, nutrition, and internal medicine. Her non-career hobbies include working out, reading and spending time with her husband and shih tzu. In the fall, you can find her at Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football games!
Why we do what we do
“I enjoy fusing my passion with my career and having the opportunity to serve the community as God’s hands and feet through veterinary medicine.”
