I think we can all agree that this has been a most interesting year. So much has changed in our community, in our nation, and in this world. In light of that, we’re ready for a little bit of normalcy again.

Starting Monday, May 3rd we will begin the transition back to pre-COVID standard operating procedures. The beginning of this process will look like this:

  • When you arrive, please check-in online or by phone.
  • When your doctor and room are available, you will be notified.
  • If you choose, you may remain in your vehicle and continue receiving curbside services.
  • If not, one person per visit will be invited to come inside with their pet(s).
  • Our staff will continue wearing masks for the time being and you will be required to wear one as well, regardless of vaccine status.
  • While inside please maintain a safe distance from others.

This is just the first step. As more people are vaccinated, we will adjust the guidelines and keep you informed.

We are overwhelmed by the support and appreciation you’ve all shown, and we want to reassure you that we will continue doing our best to care for your pets, keep you safe and keep our staff safe.

We have made every effort to keep our doors open to you as much as possible during the pandemic. As fellow pet parents, we understand how important it is to you to maintain a good working relationship with your pet’s veterinarian. Having a sense of trust and comfort is invaluable when it comes to the care of your furry and feathered companions. Taking that into consideration, we’ve had to make the decision to temporarily move to CURBSIDE ONLY, effective 1/20/21, amidst the rise in COVID-19 cases and the new variant making its way to Texas.

We want to ensure our staff members stay healthy and safe so that they can continue coming to work each day to care for your pets and provide you with the highest standards of customer service that you deserve. We will closely monitor the situation with the pandemic so that we can resume our open-door policy as quickly as possible. Once we do, we will continue to offer our curbside services for those of you who have expressed your appreciation for the ability to maintain safe social distancing in public.

We are immediately implementing staffing changes to drastically improve our operational efficiency during this change. We hope to have phones available in the exam rooms within a matter of days so that the doctors can discuss the exams with you in real-time. We ask for your help in working with our staff to maintain optimal care for your pets. We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation and look forward to making this a positive change for all involved!
