Hospital Technician
Responsibilities
- Assisting doctors with patient restraint.
- Vaccine Administration.
- Blood, Urine, and Fecal Collection.
- IV Catheter Placement.
- Anesthesia Monitoring.
- Assisting doctors with soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
- Post-Surgical recovery and monitoring.
- Administering and monitoring medications, fluids, and testing for hospitalized patients.
- Rooming patients and gathering pertinent medical histories.
- Client education.
- Care and overall compassionate service.
- Maintaining cleanliness of surgical and dental suites, exam rooms and treatment areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Previous veterinary experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Avimark veterinary software is preferred.
- Able to type 35 wpm minimum.
- Strong phone skills.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Punctual with strong attendance history.
- Wonderful customer service skills.
- Able to maintain professionalism at all times.
