Dr. Kristi Underwood completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainsville, then graduated from the University of Illinois in 2003.
She was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and following graduation, she moved to the great state of Texas to be near her family and begin her career in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Underwood spent many years focusing on equine medicine and surgery before she switched gears to small animal medicine. Her professional interests are surgery, reproductive medicine, and dentistry.
When she's not working she's spending time with her family which includes her husband, 3 children, and 3 dogs. She has a French Bulldog named Sophie, who's pictured above, a Drahthaar named Stella who loves to hunt with her sons, and Molly, the best-mixed breed shelter pup you could ask for!
