Dr. Anna Tackett has always had a passion and calling to care for animals.
She was raised in Harker Heights, Texas, began volunteering at a veterinary clinic at 15 years old, and hasn't left the field since.
Dr. Tackett, a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, obtained a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. She then graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after returning to Texas A&M to complete her clinical studies. She worked as a relief veterinarian for her hometown and in the Austin area before deciding to join the Georgetown Veterinary Hospital family.
Dr. Tackett is most passionate about physical rehabilitation and she also enjoys preventative medicine, nutrition, and internal medicine. Her non-career hobbies include working out, reading, and spending time with her husband and Shih Tzu. In the fall, you can find her at Fightin' Texas Aggie Football games!
